The Israelite hope for the Messiah was that he would be a military figure who would free Israel from all foreign oppression, thereby restoring the Kingdom of Israel. No one expected the events that actually unfolded that first Christmas. During this season, we will explore the unexpected ways that God shows up and the unexpected people he works in and through to accomplish His redemptive work. Join us on Sundays at 10 am for our series, Unexpected.
